I am sad West Side Story and My Fair Lady were taken off the list because they’re great musicals. Compared to these other films, I am not too surprised. Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner was taken off the list and I am shocked. It is one of my top five favorite films. I think a fine film that discusses interracial marriages especially when it was a touchy subject when it was made. This made the film even more phenomenal and it was remade a few years ago into Guess Who with Ashton Kutcher and Bernie Mac. Someone, please petition the AFI to get Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner.

What film do you think was left off? What film did you see taken off the list that should be put back on the list?
